Blocking Hackers with Windows Firewall In Windows Vista

windows firewall is a tool to potect your pc from malicious or hacker ,but you cannot protect virus by using windows firewall,and you can also stop sending mallicius to other pc if you have malicious on your pc.there are three main setting in windows firewall
On (recommended)
Afteri nstalling windows vista,your windows firewall will be om,because thats the default setting and some of your program will be blocked you can add it to the Exceptions list and you can see it on the Exceptions tab and allow the program

Block all incoming connections
you need it if yo want to fully protect your computer as example Windows Firewall doesn't permit Firefox to make connections, it will be a "Server not found" error when you try to browse to so you need to give Exceptions list

Off (not recommended)

You can switch of the windows firewall if you want to use another firewall

1. Nonaktifkan System Restore.
FasilitasSystem Restore pada Windows berguna untuk mengembalikan konfigurasi sistem ke konfigurasi sebelumnya. Agar sistem yang telah pulih tidak
kembali rusak, matikan fasilitas ini dengan klik kanan pada My Computer dan pilih Properties. Lalu pilih tab System Restore dan centang bagian Turn off System Restore on All Drive.

2. Matikan proses virus.
Bagaimanapun caranya, matikan proses virus. Biasanya proses virus memiliki
ikon berupa folder atau dokumen MS Word. Gunakan aplikasi seperti Process Explorer, Pocket Killbox, Show Kill Process, The Killer Machine, dan sebagainya

3. Pulihkan registry.
Pulihkan registry yang telah diotak-atik oleh virus. Jika tidak, maka virus dapat menginfeksi komputer Anda lagi. Gunakan Hijack This, Registry Cleaner, atau The Killer Machine. Hapus juga entry Scheduled Task yang dibuat oleh virus jika ada.

4. Hapus file-file virus.
Gunakan fasilitas Search pada Windows untuk menemukan file-file virus.

5. Munculkan file-file yang disembunyikan virus.
Virus pada umumnya tidak begitu kejam dengan menghapus dokumen-dokumen kita. Biasanya file-file tersebut hanya disembunyikan. Gunakan perintah attrib -s -h pada Command Prompt untuk memunculkannya kembali.

6. Saran terakhir untuk pencegahan. hati-hatilah saat melakukan transfer
data baik melalui disket, USB Flash Disk, maupun dari jaringan. Tunjukkan file hidden dan ekstensi file pada Windows Explorer. Selain itu, jangan mudah tergoda oleh file-file dengan nama yang menggoyahkan iman

2.Make more RAM (random access memory) your main priority with any PC

waduh apa nih maksudnya,hehe.Iya jadi kita harus mengutamakan RAM sebagai prioritas utama karna biasanya komputer lambat gara2 kekurangan memori,jadi kalo beli komputer jangan tanya harga dulu hehe.nah sekedar info untuk latest komputer (komputer terbaru) kita butuh 2Gb,wah gede bangat ya,tapi kita puas kok,soalnya software2 terbaru seperti photoshop cs3 atau GTa IV (gane) kebanyakan butuh memori gede,menurut informasi diluar sana udahpada make 2 Gb,soalnya untuk ngejalanin vista dan vitur2 nya kita butuh memory gede

3.Shop in store
ya iyalah beli di toko masa di warung nasi hehe.maksudnya belilah di tempat terpercaya,terkadang ada yang murah tapi pas komputer dinyalain malah kebakar hehe,dan tidak lupa memperhatikan garansinya

4.Jangan terpaku dengan merek
Untuk merek biasanya orang fanatik ya,nah biasanya setiap merek ada kelemahan nah untuk itu kita tanya kepada 3 orang diatas (maksudnya tips no 1)


5.Siapkan Uang.
Nah biasanya harga komputer bisa berubah cepet ya jadi bawa uangnya lebih dari target ya.atau kalo mo traktir saya juga boleh kalo ada lebih kwkwwk
